Dave Delaney has pastored Shawnee Baptist Church since December 2009. Pastor Delaney graduated from Northside Christian School in 1999 and from Shawnee Baptist College in 2003. He married Amanda Epperson in June 2000. After college, the Delaneys moved to Lancaster, California, where Dave worked in the youth ministry of Lancaster Baptist Church under Dr. Paul Chappell. Dave Delaney returned to Shawnee Baptist Church in the summer of 2005 to join the staff as the senior high youth pastor and served in this position until becoming pastor. He and Amanda have 4 children: Gabriel, Ethan, Alayna, and Jesse.
Pastor Delaney is the author of Who Needs a Superhero? I’m a Youth Pastor, Loving the Lost, and Storm Proof. He is also the creator of three Sunday School series for teens: “Stupid People of the Bible”, “S.T.R.I.V.E.”, and “P.U.S.H.”
